Daughter, Penelope Middleton, tract land I now live on lying at mouth of Coopers Branch, then running down Piscahway Creek until it comes to Gardiner's line, until it comes to the path or road that goes down Cozen Gardiner's Neck. Wife, Mary Hatton, 100 A. beginning at the path and running along until it comes to the end of the line. Grandchildren. To each of them a gold ring worth 10 shillings. Son, Joseph Hatton, two tracts called ''Thomlpson's Rest" and "Rich Hills," excepting that which I have given to his sister Middleton and his mother out of it, and reserving to his mother during her life the plantation I now live on. Grandchild, Hatton Middleton, except 200 acres which I give to his sister, Mary Middleton; and if my son has only female heirs, then the land to go 200 A. to my grandson, Hatton Middleton, and 100 A. to his sister, Mary Middleton. Wife, Mary Hatton, and son, Josepih Hatton, the residue for equal division. Extrs.: My wife, Mary Hatton, and my son, Joseph Hatton. Witnesses: Luke Gardiner, Thomas Stump. Will dated December 26, 1711; proved August 4, 1712, Prince George's County, Md. N. B.-On August 21, Mrs. Mary Hatton declined to serve and asked that Letters be issued to her son, Joseph Hatton.
