In the name of God Amen.  I, William Magruder Selby of Prince George's Co, in
the province of Maryland being in good health and perfect memory blessed be
God therefore do this twenty eighth day of February in the year of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred and seventy three make and publish this my last
will and Testament in manner and form following.  Now I commend my Soul unto
the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my Body to the Earth from whence
it came in hopes of a joyful resurrection thru the merits of my Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ and as for that worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased
God to bless me with I dispose thereof as follows:

        First, I give and bequeath to my son William Wilson Selby all that Tract of
Land called Grubby Thicket to him and his heirs and assigns forever.
 
       Item: I give all that parcel of Land I had of William Beall to be equally
divided between my two sons Samuel Selby and James Wilson Selby to them their
heirs and assigns forever.

        Item: I give to my son Nathan Selby fifty acres of Chews Folly where he now
lives to him and his heirs and assigns forever.

        Item: I give to my son Joshuway (could be Posinway) Wilson Selby fifty acres
of Chews Folly where he now lives to him and his heirs and assigns forever.

        Item: I give and bequeath the rest of the land called Chews Folly that
belongs to me to be equally divided between my two sons Josiah Wilson Selby
and Lingan Wilson Selby to them and their heirs and assings forever.

        Item I give and bequath to my wife Martha Selby one Negro Girl during her
widowhood .  

        Item: the first child she hath to my son Samuel Selby and his heirs and the
second to my son Nathan Selby and his heirs and the third to my son Joshuway
Wilson Selby and at the expiration of the widow's natural life of mywife the
wench and the rest of her increase I give and bequeath to my son William
Wilson Selby and heirs forever.

        Item: I give all the rest of my estate after my just debts are paid and my
wife has her thirds to be equally divided between my son Thomas Selby and my
four daughters, Martha, Sarah, Elizabeth and Mary and  their heirs forever.

        Item: I do appoint my loving wife Martha Selby and my son William Wilson
Selby full and sole executors of this my last Will and Testament. In
testimony whereof I have hereinto set my hand and seal the Day and yer within
written and sealed, ackowledged and declared in the presence of the
undermentioned being requested by this testator as witnesses:
