This is the last will and Testament of me John Soper of Prince george's
County in the State of Maryland. First I give and bequeath to my son Zadock
Soper and my Daughter Susannah Soper the Sum of Five Shillings each having
already made ample provision for them-Item I give and device to my Children
John Soper, Nathan Soper, Basil Soper, Robert Soper, Elizabeth Soper, Sarah
Hurley, Rebecca Hurley, Majsy Mahew and my grandson Levi Moore, and to their 
heirs all my real Estate to be equally divided among my Said Children and 
grand child. also I will and bequeath to the Said John Soper, Nathan Soper, 
Basil Soper, Robert Soper, Elizabeth Soper, Sarah Hurley, Rebecca Hurley, 
Majsy Mahew and Levi More and their Executors administrators or asigns all my 
personal Estate of what nature or kind to be equally divided among them and 
in case the Said devices cannot agree on the division of Said real and 
Personal Estate, then, I request that the said division may be made by 
Francis Magruder and Nathaniel Crawfurd, herby ratifying and confirming Every 
thing which may be done by them in the Execution of their power, but in case 
my Said Grand Son Should Die without issue then after his Death I devise the 
Estate herby given to him to the Said John Soper, Nathan Doper, Basil Soper, 
Robert Soper, Elizabeth Soper, Sarah Hurley, Rebecca Hurley and Majsy Mahew 
and their Heirs equally to be divided among them-and Lastly I do herby 
constitue and appoint my Son in Law Leronard Soper and my Son Nathan Soper 
Executors this my last Will and Testament revoking and annulling all former 
Wills heretofore made---fying and confirming this and none other to be my 
last Will and Testament-In Testamony whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and 
affixed my Seal this Fifth day of May Anna Domini Eighteen Hundred and One-  
John Sopers Mark & Seal.

Signed Sealed Published and Delivered by John Soper the above Mentioned
Testator as his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his
request and in his Presence have Subscribed out Names as Witneses
thereto________

Prince georges County towit, June 26th 1801.  Then cam Tarrot Darnall 
and John Darcey two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing Will and 
made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty god that they did see the 
Testator therein named Sign and Seal this Will and Testament, that at the 
time of his so doing he was in the best of their apprehensions of Sound and
disposing mind-Memory and understanding and that they together with Francis
Magruder the other Subscribing Witnes respectively Subscribed their names as 
Witnesses to this Will in the Presence and at the request of the Testator and 
in the Presence of each other_ Before Saml Tyler Register of Wills for Prince 
geo. County.

I am a descendant of the Sopers, Moores, Casteels and Scarces 
of Prince George's County Md.  Any information of any of these people will 
be appreciated. I will exchange information too. M. Mathis
