I Philip Teneley of Prince George's County being sick and low in body at this forefound time but being in my perfect senses and of sound memory, blessed be God for hoping that my soul will be received into salvation by my blessed savior Jesus Christ which I thought good to make and ordain this to be my last will and testament and none other as follows: I do give and devise unto my son Joseph Teneley all that Tract of land called Tenaley Chance and thirty acres of land called Hunters Kindness which I give unto him and his heirs forever I do give and devise unto my son Benjamin Teneley all that parcel of land called Radford's Chance, quantity of seventy acres which I do give unto him and his heirs forever but reserving to my well and beloving wife Grace Teneley her natural life in the afore mentioned lands. I do give unto my daughter Charity Simpson one schilling sterling and no more whatsoever I do give unto my daughter Mary Ridgeway one schilling sterling and no more whatsoever I do give unto my daughter Sarah Williams one schilling sterling and no more whatsoever I do give unto my daughter Anne Murphy one schilling sterling and no more whatsoever I do give unto my wife Grace Teneley four negroes called Peg, Cate, Jacob and Robert during her natural life and after her decease the fore said mentioned negroes shall fall to my son, Josiah Teneley and his heirs forever. I do give unto my son Benjamin Teneley one cow and calf and one negro woman called Rachell to him and his heirs I do give unto my grand daughter Vinaford Wornall my riding horse to her and her heirs and further I do give unto my well and beloving wife Grace Teneley all the residue of my Personal Estate that I have in the world, whatsoever to her and assigned I do leave my well beloved wife to be my whole and sole ex. of this my last will and testament which I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 13 day of November 1772.
