Will of Samuel Waring of Prince Georges Co. dtd 1 June 1774, proved 23 May 1746.

In the name of God Almighty Amen. I, Samuel Waring of Prince Georges County, being 
of sound and disposing mind abd memory do make and ordain this my last will and 
testament as follows. Viz,

Item. I give and bequeath unto my brother Basil Waring a certain parcel of land lying in 
the county aforesaid (lately given to me by my brother Thomas Warring (sic) being part of 
a tract of land called Warings Lott) to him and his heirs forever, in witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of June Anno Domino 1744.

Signed, sealed, published, pronounced and declared by the said Samuel Waring to be his 
last will and testament in the presence of us who signed the same as evidences in the 
presence of the said testator at his request.

At the foot of the foregoing will thus written Viz. May the 23rd 1746 then came Mr. 
James Haddock Waring and Mr. John Belt two subscribing evidences to the above 
mentioned will and being duly sworn on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God declare 
and say they saw Mr. William(??) Waring the deceased testator sign the foregoing will and 
hear him publish and declare the same to be his last will and testament and at the time of 
his so doing he was of sound and disposing memory to the best of their apprehension and 
in his presence and at his request they subsented the same as evidences, sworn before -- 
Peter Dent, District COmmissioner of Pr. Geo. County.
