I William Wilson of Prince George’s County in the state of Maryland being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my affairs and be prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me do therefore make and publish this my last Will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say. First and principally I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors herein after named and after my debts and funeral charges be paid I devise and bequeath as follows, that is to say I give and devise unto my son William H. Wilson all my Lands lying on the paint branch being the lands whereon my said son now lives the same being a tract on part of a tract of land called Red House and part of the tract of land called Chews folly or be the same land, or any part thereof called or known by any other name or names whatsoever to have and to hold all the said lands lying on the paint branch or contiguous or adjoining thereon unto my said son William H. Wilson and his heirs and assigns in fee simple. – Also I give and devise unto my son Joseph H. Wilson all my lands lying on the beaver dam branch the same being tracts or parts of tracts of land called Beales pasture – Bealls pasture Enlarged, Gordens Park and Mount Ariat or be the same lands called or known by any other name or names whatsoever to have and to hold all the said several tracts or parts of tracts of land lying adjoining or adjacent to the said beaver dam branch unto my said son Joseph H. Wilson and his heirs and assigns in fee simple. – Also I give and devise unto my son Washington Wilson the dwelling plantation whereon I now live and all the lands which I hold adjoining thereto except the parts thereof herein after excepted beoing about ten acres herein devised to my daughter Margery Hill and one acre herein after devised to the widow Clarke to have and to hold the said dwelling plantation and all the lands which I possess adjoining thereto except the parts herein after excepted unto my said son Washington Wilson and his heirs and assigns in fee simple. – Also I give and devise unto my daughter Margery Hill all that part of the tract of land called Baltimore which is contained within the lines following, that is to say beginning at a stone planted in a ditch being also in the first line of the said tract of land called Baltimore and running thence to a stone planted in a road leading across the said tract then from said stone by with and along the middle of the said road and by a Ceder tree standing in Richard Hills’ corn field at the root of which tree a stone is planted into the given line of the said tract called Baltimore then with said given line to the end thereof being the place of beginning of said tract then with said first line to the stone in the ditch aforesaid the place of beginning containing about ten acres of Land more or less – Also all that tract or part of tract or tracts of land which I purchased of James Wilson and upon which the said James Wilson now lives and in which have given the said James Wilson an estate for life to have and to hold the said part of the tract of land call Baltimore above described and the remainder or reversion in the lands upon which the said James Wilson now lives unto my said daughter Margery Hill and her heirs and assigns in fee simple. – Also I give and devise unto my daughter Margarey Wilson all the tract or part of tract of land called Poplar Thickett or be the same or any part thereof called or known by any other name or names whatsoever the same being the lands which I purchased at a sale made by the Sheriff of Prince Georges County in virtue of a Judgment obtained by me against Mordicai Cheney the same being the Land on which the said Cheney now lives to have and to hold the said land upon which the said Cheney resides unto my said daughter Margaret and her heirs and assigns in fee simple. – Also I give and devise unto Mrs. clark the widow of Thomas Clark one acre of ground to include the House in which she now lives to have and to hold the said one acre of ground unto the said Mrs. Clark during the term of her natural life remainder to my son Washington Wilson and his heirs and assigns in fee simple. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret Wilson one feather bed and furniture. Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Talbartt four hundred dollars to be paid by my Executor immediately after my decease to her the said Mary Talbartt or to any person authorized to receive the same. – And Whereas my grandson Owen Blackmore deposited with me for safe keeping the balance of a legacy left him by his Aunt Jane Jones the amount of which I do not recollect it is my will and desire that my Executors pay to the said Owen Blackmore or any person authorized to receive the same the balance of the said legacy whenever the same may be called for. – Also I give and bequeath to my grandson William Jones one negro boy named Ras or Erasmus and also the sum of fifty dollars to be paid to him by my Executors immediately after my decease. Also I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Mary Jones one negro boy named Levi and also the sum of fifty dollars to be paid to her by my Executors immediately after my decease. Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Matilda Sheriff one feather bed and furniture and nothing more from my Estate. Also I devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my Estate both Real and personal all ready money and condensed of debts and the same due thereon and all the property of every nature and kind of which I may die possessed to be equally divided among my sons Wiliam H. Wilson, Joseph H. Wilson , Washington Wilson and my daughters Margery Hill and Margaret Wilson to each of them in equal portion share and share alike after the cash and other legacies herein before bequeathed shall have been paid and delivered. – And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son William H. Wilson and my son in law Richard Hill to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this and none other to be my last Will and testament. – In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty second day of June in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirteen.
