CENTREVILLE, MD., Jan. 2, --- Mrs. Dodd, wife of John Dodd, one 
of the judges of the Orphans’ Court for this county, died 
yesterday morning of cancer in the breast.  She had been a long
sufferer, having been confined to her bed for several months 
past, lying in a state of unconsciousness for several days at 
a time.  She was a very estimable lady, and the poor of the 
community have lost a valuable friend.
