Will of Elizabeth Harrington, Queen Anne's County Register of Wills,
Maryland, TCE:1:197
11th June 1820
7th May 1822

To granddau. Julian Downes - my wearing apparel, one Negro boy called - - -,
Negro boy called Charles 8 years old, bedstead and furniture, cow and calf.

To grandson Samuel Edwin Downes - one Negro boy called Dick abt. 7 years
old, Negro boy Tom abt. 3 years old, Negro girl Hester abt. 2 years old,
bedstead and furniture, horse, one cow and calf, one walnut desk.

To my Negro man Tom, his freedom at my death.

To my Negro woman Henney, her freedom at my death - also her son named Mark
now sucking at the breast until it is twenty one years, then it is to be
free from his mother.
