Imprimis I leave & bequeath unto my well beloved Wife SARAH DIXON my plantation with House & Orchards whereon I now live during her natural life and after her Decease I give the said Plantation unto my Son THOMAS DIXON and to the Heirs Lawfully begotten of his Body forever. Item I give & bequeath unto my well beloved Wife SARAH DIXON one Third part of my moveable Estate together with one Negro Boy Named Peter and one Negro Girl called Sus to her and her heirs & Assigns forever. Item I give and devise unto my Son ISAAC DIXON & to heir heirs and Assigns forever a Parcell of Land taken out of a Pattent of [Confirmation?] called Dixons p. 278: Choice Enlarged beginning at a marked White Oak standing near a Divisional Ditch between Brother Wm Dixon and my half from thence moving to a marked Red Oak standing by.. The Collar Ditch from this moving to a marked Pine being a Boundary or Corner between Capt Thomas Williams & myself as also another parcell of land taken out of a Pattent called Additon containing and laid out for 167 acres 156 acres of which I give to my Son Isaac before mentioned and also another Pattent of Land called Dam Quarter containing Sixty [Thirty?] four Acres Allwhich said Lands … I give to my said Son Isaac Dixon, to his heirs & Assigns forever. Item I give & devise unto my Son ISAAC DIXON One hundred and fifty Acres of Marshland of a Pattent called Dixons Lott to him and his Heirs and Assigns forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my Son ISAAC DIXON one Negro Man called Gideon and a negro Girl called Black Jennifer [or Joan], his heirs and Assigns forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my Son THOMAS DIXON a parcel of Land taken out of a Pattent of Confirmation Called Bostown containing twenty five acres more or less to him and the heirs lawfully begotten of his Body forever. Item I give & devise unto my Son THOMAS DIXON three Hundred Acres of Marsh taken out of a Pattent called Dixons Lott to him & his heirs & Assigns forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my Son THOMAS DIXON one Negro Boy named Watt and one Negro Girl Wench called Kate to him & his heirs & Assigns forever. Item I give & bequeath to my Daughter ELIZABETH TURPIN twenty Shillings, with what I have already possessed her with, to be levied out of my Estate as also one Shilling Sterling, it being the full part of her Portion or Legacies out of my Estate. Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter MARY PURNALL twenty Shillings with what I have already possessed her with, to be levied out of my Estate as also one Shilling Sterling it being the full part of her portion or Legacies out of my Estate. Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter SARAH DIXON one Negro Boy named Toby as also one Negro Girl named Beck to her and her heirs and Assigns forever. Also I appoint my Well beloved friend Capt Thomas Williams and his Son in Law William Turpin Guardians of my Children. Lastly All the remaining part of my Estate not Willed away I leave to be equally divided amongst my three children viz. Thomas Dixon, Isaac Dixon and Sarah Dixon. And also I do Constitute appoint & Ordain my Well beloved Wife SARAH DIXON together with my Son ISAAC DIXON Executrix & Executor of this my last Will and Testament Revoking and disannulling all former Wills and Testaments heretofore by me made and this only to be taken for my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal the Day & year first above written. Thos.
