Thomas Pryor - Will - 1745

Being weak and lowe(?) in body but in perfect mind and memory and
calling to mind ye**** my body, I recommend my soul to God who gave it
to me and my Body to be buried decently .  Item I leave unto my well
beloved wife Ann Prior all my possessions of land during her life and
then to be equally divided amongst my children.  Item I give and
bequeath unto my well beloved son Thomas Prior all ye part and parcel of
Land lying on ye westernmost side of a Beaver Dam.  This is my last will
and Testament December 15, 1744.

April ye 19th 1745 Came John Cohoon and Sinah Scott subscribing
evidences to this will and made Oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty
God that they saw the Testator Thomas Pryor sign this will (but as to
his sealing it they don't remember) and they they heard him publish
pronounce and declare this Instrument of writing to be his last Will and
Testament and that a of his so doing he was of Sound and disposing mind
memory and understanding that they these John Cohoon and Sinah Scott
subscribe the said will in the presence and at the request of Thomas
Pryor.

Sworn to before Nehemiah King   Deputy County of Soms

April ye 19th 1745 then did Ann Pryor, widow of Thomas Pryor come before
me the subscriber and made her Election to  this will and desired to be
wholy conducted by the devises made her thus relinquishes any claim by
law.
