In the name of God Amen I William Wilson of Somerset County, state of 
Maryland, Being of perfect mind and memory and Caling to mind the uncertainty 
of this life and willing to settle my Temporal affairs and as for my worldly 
goods which it hath pleased God to bless me with I bestow in manner and form 
following, Vizt.  Imprimus, I leave the house that I now live in and out 
houses and one Third part of my lands, to my two Daughters Charrity and 
Jemimah in order to take Care of and support their Brother Killiam Wilson as 
long as he lives, and in Case my two Daughters afrd should survive their 
Brother afrd it is my Desire that they should retain possession of the land 
and houses afd as long as they shall live a single life,  Item.  I give and 
bequeath unto my daughter Charrity Wilson, one bed and furniture, one Cow and 
Calf one Ewe and lamb, to her and her heirs forever,  Item.  I give and 
bequeath unto my daughter Jemimah Wilson, one bed and furniture one cow and 
calf one ewe and lamb to her and her heirs forever,  Item, after the former 
part of my will being complied with I give and bequeath unto my son George 
Wilson all my lands houses orchards &c called Security & Wilsons last, Survey, 
during his life and after his decease to my grand son William Wilson to him 
and his heirs forever my George Wilson to occupy two thirds of my land at my 
decease
Item  I give and bequeath unto my son Jesse Wilson one bed and furniture and 
one cow and calf one ewe and lamb also twenty one acres of land by the name of 
Wilson’s Purchase to him and his heirs forever.  Item after my lawful debts 
and legacies being paid off I give and bequeath the remainder of my estate to 
be Equally divided between my five children vizt. Easter, Charrity, Edith, 
Jesse & Jemimah to them and their heirs forever.  Item I leave my two sons 
George Wilson and Jesse Wilson my whole and sole executors of this my last 
will and testament revoking all other wills ratyfing and confirming this and 
no other to be my will & testament in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my 
hand and seal this fifteenth day of February, Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and 
ninety four….1794
