Children were Charles Wesley Kimble b. 1873 - d. 1945, Harvey Kimble b. 1875 - d. 1946, Sarah Bell Kimble b. 1871 - d. 1934, John Ira Kimble b. 1879 - d. 1931, Gracie Kimble b. 1884 , Mary Kimble b. 1887. Samuel joined the MD Light Artillery in 1861. He was wounded at the battle of New Market May 15 1864. Samuel was a driver on the second piece. The weapon was a 3" Parrott gun. Mary E. Tucker's parents were William Tucker b. 1814 OH - d 1873 IA and Mary Jane Maines b. 1816 IA d.1858 IA. William's children were Mary E. Tucker, Charity Ellen b. 1840 d. 1895, Phillip b. 1845, Rebecca b. 1849 d. 1930, Sarah Jane b.1851 d. 1899, Catherine b. 1843 d. 1929, Deborah Ann b. 1838 d. 1911, Charles Wesley b. 1854 d. 1938, William Henry b.1855 d. 1909. Mary Kimble filed for a widows pension in 1893 and her sisters Rebecca and Deborah wrote depositions for her.
