Parents: Rosa M. Lopez Acosta and the late Santiago Acosta
Education: University of Puerto Rico from 1949 until 1953
Military: United States Army; served in Korea, Germany, Vietnam and Panama. 
          He served with the Infantry, Military Intelligence and CIA. In 1972 he 
          retired from the military at Fort Meade with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. 
Occupation: First Federal Bank of Annapolis, retired in 1989. 
Spouse: Maureen Bremer
Date of Marriage: March 14, 1985
Also Survived by: seven children; Roberto Acosta of Baltimore, MD, Yvette Korvin of 
                  Severn, MD, Lisa Stein of TX, Michelle I. Lynch of Ellicott City, MD, 
                  Michael D. Acosta of Baltimore, MD, Adam M. Acosta and Bremer C. Acosta, 
                  both of Stevensville, MD; two siblings, Jose M. Acosta of Puerto Rico 
                  and Mary C. Acosta of Los Angeles, CA; 11 grandchildren and two great 
                  grandchildren.
Predeceased by: brother, John Acosta.
Wake & Funeral: Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P. A., Chester, MD. 
Interment: Stevensville Cemetery.
