Liber 17: Folio 71-72 Written: February 3, 1738 Recorded: November 20, 1738 Inventory of Abraham Teneson, St. Mary's County, Maryland 5 Feb 1738 -- Registered 20 Nov 1738 The account of MARY TENESON, the administratrix of all singular goodes, chattels, rights and credits of ABRAHAM TENESON, late of St. Mary's Co., deceased. The accountant chargeth herself amount of ye inventory of said deceased's estate exhibited late the Perrogative Office at Annapolis amounting to the sum of 61 pounds, 3 shillings, 5 pence and ye said accountant further chargeth herself with ye deceased's crop of tobacco amount to ????? ?????? per lb. ?????? Currency received from James Farthen, Elis Asher, Anthony Smith. Ye accountant humbly craves allowance for her overall payments and disbursements made out of ye deceased's estate as followeth: 500 lb.s tobacco to John Thompson for land rent, Richard Hopewell ??????? Letters of administration, stating accounts --- Funeral charges allowed 1 pound --- Commission allowed ---- The balance to be disposed of 1/3 to ye deceased's widow, the above accountant, ye reserves, orphans of ye deceased: 1. Made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God ye foregoing acct. is just and true which after due examination if past by me, Thomas Asquith, Deputy, St. Mary's Co., Md. Additional Comments: Abraham was the son of John Tennison, Jr. & Sarah [--?--], and the grandson of John Tennison (d. 1682-1683) and Elizabeth [--?--] (d. 1684).
