For a valuable consideration paid by said Wm. Evans, said Brooke sells to said Evans forever that parcel of land first granted unto William Thompson, deceased, and since in ye tenner and occupation of the said William Evans, lying on the east side of St. Clement's Bay in Potomack River, St. Mary's County, Md., 250 acres, the bounds whereof are particularly set down and described in the patent, dated at St. Mary's, June 8, 1649.
