FROM ROBERT BROOKE, of Calvert Co., Md., in Patuxent River, TO WILLIAM EVANS, of Newtowne, in St. Mary s County, Esq. For a valuable consideration hath granted, bargained and sold all that tract land first granted unto William Thompson, deceased, and since in ye occupancy of said William Evans, lying on ye east side of St. Clements Bay in Potomack River in St. Mary's County, containing 250 acres, the bounds whereof are particularly set down and described in the patent or grant to the said parcel of land dated at St. Mary's June 8, 1649, with all the rights and appurtenances and houses in Clement's Bay, St. Mary's County, as above rehearsed.
