Know yee that for and in consideration that Robert DRURY of St. Maries County in our said Province of Maryland hath due unto him one hundred Acres of Land within our said Province being due to the said DRURY by a Warrant for the same quantity granted him the 19th day of September 1683 as appears upon Record and upon such conditions __formes as are expressed in the Conditions of Plantation of our Lord father Cecilius __ of noble memory according to his Declaration bearing date 22nd day of September 1658, with such alterations as in ____ made by his instruction to us bearing date the 28th day of July 1669, and the 21 day March the next following all ____ and remaining upon Record in our said Province of Maryland. We do hereby grant unto him the said Robert DRURY,,,,,,,, all that tract or ___ of land called Dry Dockings Addition lyeing in St. Maries County and Begining at a bounded B?___ standing by a fresh run ___running thence south for seven? paces? to a bounded white oak of Thomas EVANS land ___ing on the said land south seventy one paces(paces?) to a bounded Pichiccory thence west fifty four paces to a bounded white oak in a swamp then northeast by north ninety-three paces to a bounded white wood thence north northeast twenty-five paces to a bounded red oak standing in the east line of his owne land called Dry Dockin binding upon the said land east ninety-two paces to a bounded oak then north eighty six paces to a bounded oak of the said Drye Dockin then east ninety-nine paces, to a bounded oak then south one hundred and twelve paces untill it intersects a line drawne east from the first bound tree containing and now laid out for 100 acres of land more or less according to the certificate of survey ___ taken and returned into the Land Office at the City of St. Maries bearing date of 20ieth day of October 1683 and ___ remaining upon Record together with all rights profitts, benefitts and privileges thereunto belonging- Royall mines excepted, to have and to hold the same unto him the said Robert DRURY his heirs and assignes forever. To be holden of us and our heirs as of our Mannor of ____ in free and common soccage? by ___ only for all mannor of services yielding and paying thereford yearly unto us and our heirs at our Royal __ at our St. Maries at the two most ___ feasts in the year, viz. the feasts of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Michael the Archangle by whom equal portions of rent of four shillings sterling in silver or gold for a fine upon every alienation of the said land or any part or parcel thereof one whole years rent in silver or gold or the full value thereof in such comodities as we and our heirs or such officer or officers as shall be appointed by us and our heirs from time to time to collect ____the same shall accept in Discharge and thereat the choice of us and our heirs or such officer or officers as aforesaid Provided that if the said sume for a fyne for alionacion shall not be paid unto us and our heirs or such officer or officers as aforesaid before such alienation of the said alionaton entered upon Record within the Provincial Court or in the County Court whose the said ____ of land lyeth with one month next after such alienacon and the said alienason shall be void __ of none effort given at our said city of St. Maries under the great seale of our said Province of Maryland this 10th day of August in the ninth year of Our Lord __Domini One thousand six hundred eighty-four.
