Abell & sister Betsey Norris. My ½ of negro Nace to my brother Jo Abell by paying to my sister Betsey Norris $10 per year as long as either the said Nace or my sister Betsey shall live. My bed & bedstead & sufficient covering for a bed & my trunk to be delivered at my death to Charlotte E. A. Hayden daughter of Igns Hayden. Any other bed covering, furniture &c that I may have at my death, I give to my brother Jo. Abell. All my clothing to my sister Betsey Norris ~ I have this 19 April 1855 made the above disposition of my property to take effect at my death ~~ Ann X Abell Signed & acknowledged before us Geo W. The 19th day of January 1858 The last will and testament of Ann Abell late of Saint Marys County deceased, being this day during the recess of the Orphans Count presented to me for probat & Jo Abell one of the next of kin of the deceased being present and assenting thereto, and no objection being made or caveat filed agt. the same I James L. The 19th day of Jany. 1858 Then came Joseph Spalding one of the three subscribing witnesses to within last will and testament of Ann Abell late of Saint Marys County deceased and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty god, that he did see the Testatrix therein named sign & seal this will, and that he heard her publish pronounce and declare the same to be her last will ad testament, that at the time of sodoing, she was to the best of his apprehensions of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, and that he respectively subscribed his name as witness to this will in the presence and at the the request of the Testatrix and in the presence of the other witness and also that he did see Geo. W. Richardson the other witness to this will subscribe the same in the presence and at the request of the Testatrix. Certified by James L. M.
