I Thomas Theodore Drury of St. Mary's County in the State Maryland, being in bad health but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, and considering the certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the time thereof, and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me hence, do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form following that is to say First and principally I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty-God, and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named and after my debts and funeral charges are paid I devise and bequeath as follows. It is my wish and desire that my dear wife Marthay A. Drury shall have my entire estate during her single life after my debts are paid. After the death or marriage of my wife Martha A. Drury it is my wish and desire that my estate Real & personal shall be sold and equally divided between my three children, Elizabeth Indianio Drury and Mary Virginia Drury and George W. Drury and lastly it is my wish and desire that my wife Marthy A Drury and William C Foxwell shall be my administrators. Witness my hand and seal April 1st 1870 T. T. Drury (((Seal))) Test A.C. Drury late of St. Mary's County deceased, being this day presented to the Orphan's Court for probate and no objections being made or caveat filed against the said last will and testament the Orphan's Court for St. Mary's County ordered the same to be put to probate according to law. Cullison subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing last Will and Testament of Thomas T. Drury late of Said County, deceased, and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, That they did see the Testator sign and seal this Will: that they heard him publish, pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament, that at the time of his so doing he was, to the best of their apprehension, of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding and that they subscribed their names as witnesses to the Will in his presence, at his request, and in the presence of each other Sworn to in open Court Test J.
