MARY'S COUNTY, MARYLAND, PREROGATIVE COURT, MARYLAND STATE ARCHIVES, HALL OF RECORDS, ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND, VOLUME 18, PAGE 435 In the Name of God Amen I Jacob Williams of St Marys County in the Province of Maryland plantor being sick and weake of Body but of sound and perfect memory and Knowing the uncertainty of this Transitory Life Doe make this my Last Will and Testament In Manner and forme following That is to say I Committ my soul to God that Gave it me in hopes to receive full pardon for all my sins through the meritorious death and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ and doe make this my Last Will and Testament Revoaking all other Wills heretofore by me made & doe make this my last Will In Manner and forme following Vizt Impr ffirst I Give and bequeath unto my Loveing wife all my Lands to her during her Naturall Life and after her deceased to be Equally Devided between my two sons to them and their Heirs for Ever: 2d And for all the rest of my personall Estates to be Equally Devided between my loveing Wife Elizabeth and my two sons William and Benjamin after my Just debts being paid and doe Leave my Loveing Wife my whole and sole Exrx of this my last Will and Testament In Wittness whereof I have putt my hand & seale this sixth day of December Annoq Dom 1725 JACOB WILLIAMS (Seal) Signed and Sealed and Delivered In presence of Philip Evans James Williams Jno Baker On the Back of ye aforegoing Will was thus Written Vizt January the 1st 1725 Then came philip Evans James Williams John Baker the three subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Will and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of allmighty God that they saw the Testator Jacob Williams signe and seale and heard him publish and Declare the same as his Last Will and Testament and that att the time of his soe doing he was to the best of their Knowledge and apprehension of sound and disposing mind and memory and that they the aforesaid philip Evans James Williams and John Baker as Wittnesses did Subscribe the Aforesaid Will in the presence of the said Testator.
