JOHN BISCOE WILL In the name of God, Amen. I, John Biscoe of St. Mary's County being sick and weak in body, but sound of mind and memory, thanks be to God, do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say. Item. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Biscoe one schilling sterling full of my estates. Item. I give and bequeath to my son Mackay Biscoe my dwelling plantation where I now live. If he should die without issue lawfully begotten it shall go to my son Richard and his heirs proven. Item. I give to my son Bennett Biscoe that tract of land called and known by the name of Carronwood (?) To him and his heirs forever. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Anna Milburn a Negro boy named Harry to her and her heirs forever. Item. My desire is that after all my debts is paid out of my personal estate of what remains shall be equally divided between my children now mentioned, Elizabeth Biscoe, Elinor Biscoe, Bennett Biscoe, Richard Biscoe and Amnoy (?) Biscoe to them and their heirs forever----------- Item, my desire is that my beloved wife, Elizabeth Biscoe and my son Mackay Biscoe shall be my whole and sour Executors of this I do ordain to be my last will and testament give from under my hand to __?__ this thirty first day of May, one thousand seven hundred seventy seven. The witnesses were called by the court and swore that this was the will they witnessed.
