In memory of Jas. E. Benson, June 13, 1853, 31 yrs. 6 days. 
In memory of Emilie, consort of Joseph T. Benson, who died Oct. 31st, 1848, aged 19 yrs., 5 mos. 
Dr. James Benson who came to this Province 1674. Capt. of a troop of horse, 
    1693. Died March 1709, and Mary his wife. 
Nicholas Benson their son, b. March 1699, d. 17753 and 
    Rachel, his wife. All of whom were buried within this ground. Note:: This 
    stone is placed by their descendants 1904, Mrs. Hannah Benson, d. 27 Jan. 
    1788, aged 59 yrs., 8 mos. 
In memory of Gen. Perry Benson, d. Oct. 21, 1827, son of James and Hannah 
    Benson, b. Aug. 6, 1757, Capt. of Md. Line and covered for gallantry and twice 
    wounded in battle in the Rev. War. Maj. Gen. Md. Militia in War of 1812. 
William Townsend, b. June 2, 1800, d. Jan, 5, 1864. 
Paul, son of S. and T. I. Townsend, b. July 5, 1866, d. Oct. 2, 1866. 
Sacred to the memory of Ann Maria, consort of William Townsend, d May 22, 
    1866, aged 62 yrs, 3 mos.
