"Washington County, Maryland To wit,
   On this 4 day of Feby 1814 came Christian Nagle before me, the Subscriber 
on of the Justices of the Peace for the County and State aforementioned and 
made an oath agreeable to law, that he served as a Sergeant in the 10th 
Pennsylvania Regiment commanded by COL George Nagle, that he knew Barnabas 
Coplar a soldier in the 9th Pennsylvania Regt commanded by COL Richard Butler 
in the Revolutionary War a Taylor by trade and that he had worked for him as 
such in the Army of the States that the said Nagle and Coplar was discharged 
in November 1788 at Philadelphia.

State of Maryland Washington County To wit
I hereby certify that Adam Ott gentleman whose roll is Subscribed to the above 
affidavits is one of the State of Maryland Justices of the Peace in and for 
that county aforesaid duly _____ and qualified and to all his ____ as such due 
faith and credit is and ought to the ______ as well in counts of Justice as 
the Bounty

                      In Testimony and Witness whereof I have hereto
                      Subscribed my hand and affix my Official Seal
                      this fifth day of February in the year of our Lord
                      One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fourteen
