All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/md/mdfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Dale Cobler topekagrad@yahoo.com June 21, 2012, 12:33 am Written: February 4, 1814 Recorded: February 5, 1814 "Washington County, Maryland To wit, On this 4 day of Feby 1814 came Christian Nagle before me, the Subscriber on of the Justices of the Peace for the County and State aforementioned and made an oath agreeable to law, that he served as a Sergeant in the 10th Pennsylvania Regiment commanded by COL George Nagle, that he knew Barnabas Coplar a soldier in the 9th Pennsylvania Regt commanded by COL Richard Butler in the Revolutionary War a Taylor by trade and that he had worked for him as such in the Army of the States that the said Nagle and Coplar was discharged in November 1788 at Philadelphia.
