Mrs. Amanda C. Eakle, widow of Absalom Eakle, died at the home of her son,
Vinton L. Eakle, near Boonsboro, yesterday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock after an
illness of one year of complications. She was aged 33 years.
	Mrs. Eakle was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Leah Stone and was a life
long resident of Washington County and for 70 years a member of the United
Brethren Church.
	She is survived by two sons, Vinton L., near Boonsboro, and Benjamin,
Broadfording, a brother, Allen M. Stone, Boonsboro, seven grandchildren and 14
great grandchildren.
	The Funeral will be held Sunday afternoon leaving the house at 1 o’clock.
Services will be conducted in the United Brethren Church and interment will be
in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
