Wednesday Morning December 26, 1951
Magistrate Martin L. Ingram, 51, of Hagerstown, former Republican member for 
Washington County, died yesterday at the University Hospital,
He had been operated on for a brain tumor Saturday.
Ingram, who lived in Funktown, just outside of Hagerstown, much of his life, 
served as State’s attorney of the county for twelve years. He also practiced 
law in Hagerstown.
He was a graduate of Dickinson College and John Hopkins University.
Ingram is survived by his widow, a daughter, on brother, and a sister. Services 
will be held tomorrow afternoon at a Hagerstown funeral home, and burial will 
be in that city.
