Koogle died Friday at 11.10 o'clock, at the home of his son, Alvey F. Koogle, 74 East avenue, Hagerstown, of general debility, aged 91 years. Mr. Koogle was one of the oldest residents of the city. He had lived in Hagerstown for forty years, moving there from Frederick county, where in active life he was engaged as a wagon-maker and was considered an expert in this work. Mr. Koogle was one of the founders and a charter member of St. Mark's Lutheran church. He is survived by three sons, Harian L., Germantown, O.; George W., Conover, O. and Alvey F., of Herstown; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Mentzer, of Myersville. Funeral Sunday afternoon, leaving the house at 2 o'clock, services in the Lutheran church at Middletown, by Rev. Dr. J. W. Ott, and interment in the Lutheran cemetery.
