King CHARLTON - Mrs. Emma May King, 60, died early Thursday morning at the Washington County Hospital. She was born in Clear Spring area, the daughter of William and Hattie Snyder Yost. She was the wife of William L. King. She was a member of the Full Gospel Chapel of Indian Springs. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Miss Judith King, at home, Mrs. Alice Worthington of Rockville and Mrs. Mary Lindsay of Artesia, N.M.; one son, James King of Rockville; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Daley of Hagerstown and Mrs. Ruth Shaw of Cabin John; one brother, Charles R. Yost of Clear Spring; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Clear Spring with the Rev. Carl Harper officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Clear Spring. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime aftre 5 p.m. today. Additional Comments: Posted in the Herald mail news paper on January 12 1973.
