Shank Mrs. Sarah E. Shank, widow of Otho J. Shank, died at the home of daughter, Mrs. Charles Harp, Ravenswood Heights, near Hagerstown, Sunday morning, 11:45 o’clock, aged 85 years. Death resulted from complications after an illness of five years. She was a daughter of the late Hezekiah and Barbara Marker Cline, a native of Frederick county and a member of the Keedysville St. Peter’s church. Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Harp, are these other daughters, Mrs Cyril S. Shupp, Baltimore, Mrs. Ellis C. Mullendore, Ravenswood Heights, sons, Harry C. Shank, Keedysville, J. Albert Shank, Boonsboro, and Roscoe Shank, Hagerstown. Also sisters, Mrs. John C. Poffenberger, Sharpsburg; Mrs. William Stine, Venevola; and brother, John K. Cline, Boonsboro; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, 2:30 o’clock, at the Harp residence in Ravenswood Heights, Rev. Donald R. Stonesifer, will officiate. Interment in Boonsboro Mausoleum. William F. Bast and Sons, funeral directors.
