The Frederick Post, Monday, January 31, 1927

Elias Warner, aged 87 years, a retired farmer of near Pleasant Hill, died on
Saturday night at Montevue Hospital where he had been a boarding patient for 
some months.  For six years he had been at the Fahrney Memorial Home, 
Washington county.  He was a veteran of the Civil war, a member of Third New 
York Cavalry.  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George S. Martz, Pleasant 
Hill, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Funeral Tuesday 
morning at 10 o’clock at home of his daughter.  Interment in Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.  Thomas P. Rice, funeral director.
