Yost CLEAR SPRING - Clarence Cecil Yost, 39, of Rt. 2, Clear Spring, died Saturday at Washington County Hospital. He was the husband of Mildred Atherton Yost and the son of Rosie and Raymond Yost. A life resident of the Clear Spring area, he was a self-employed logger and lumber- man. He was a member of the Penticostal Chapel of Pinesburg. Besides his wife, mother and father, he is survived by one daughter, Kathy Yost, at home; five sons, Wayne Yost, Dennis Yost, Jerry Yost, John Yost and Ronald Yost, all at home; four sisters, Mrs. carrie Stouffer and Mrs. Ruth Snyder, both of Hagerstown, Mrs. Jean Gladhill of Big Pool and Mrs. Mary Clever of Fayetteville, Pa.; and six brohters, Charles Yost and Richard Yost, both of Big Spring, James Yost, Lauren Yost and Douglas Yost, all of Clear Spring, and Larry Yost of Hagerstown. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Thompson Funeral Home in Clear Spring with the Rev. Carl Harper Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul's Cemetery in Clear Spring. Friends my call at the funeral home. Additional Comments: Clarence Cecil Yost was the son of Charles Raymond and Rosie Viola Mills Yost. Clarence was born Feb 5 1931 died Jan 16th 1971 died as a result of skin cancer. His wife was Mildred Bernice Atherton daughter of Corbett Duffield and Hazel Elizabeth Bowers Atherton of Mercersburg Pa. Clarence and Mildred were Married in July of 1952 and had six children, all at home at the time of his death.
