In the Name of God Amen, I Jacob Myers Jr of Washington County and State of Maryland being of sound mind and memory and understanding, do make and Publish my last will and testament, as follows. to Wit: I devise and desire that all my Personal Property including 1/2 of a Stock of Merchandise in the hands namely Myers & Hage at Present, also Storehouse also 1/2 of Warehouse and all personal property that I may be possessed of being sold and turned into money, and I bequeath and give out of the money or property at a (praisement?) to my wife Mary one hundred dollars as she may prefer to have the same for own use and benefit, Providing the said Mary my wife shall be satisfied as to this will but if said Mary my wife shall demand any more or claim any outside of this will then I declair the foregoing requestment to be null and void and after all my debts are paid and whereas there is a (leg???) or and interest due me or becoming due me in my dec'd Fathers Estate in Warren Township, Franklin Co Pa I desire and will that my interest shall remain in said estate or in said real estate to be secured property by mortgage and that the interest of the same shall be paid annually to my wife Mary so long as she shall live or remain my widow after which time of the death or marriage then the said amount due me principal sum shall be calculated and equally devided among my legal heirs also all money or money left after all the debts being paid in the forgoing shall be paid in due time in equal shares & shares alike to my legal Heirs. And lastly I do hereby nominate and apoint my son John A Myers to be the Executor of this my last will and testament and I do hereby renounce all former wills and declare this to be my last will and testment. I testamony whereof I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this 26th day of March, in the Year of our Lord, One thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty One.
