Item I give & bequeath Likewise unto My Son Solomon Shockley five Shillings Sterling Money of Grate Briton for his fulle share & part of my Estate & no More: Item I give (and Bequeath Likewise [crossed out]) unto my Son John Shockley five Shillings Sterling Money of Grate Briton for his fulle share and part of My Estate and No More. Item I give & bequeath Likewise unto My Son David Shockley five Shillings Sterling Money of Grate Briton for his fulle share and part of My Estate & No More. Item I give and Bequeath unto my Daster Agness Ingram Wife of Jacob Ingram five Shillings Sterling Money of grate Briton for her fulle share & part of my Estate and no More. Item I give and Bequeath unto my Dearly Beloved Daughter, Love Rathborn Begotten by me on the Body of Mary Rathborn a sertain parcel of Track of Land Called Security Containing Two hundred & Forty five Acres to her and her Heirs Lawfully Begotten of her Body for Ever: I also give and Bequeath unto my aforesaid Daster Love Rathborn a Track of Land Called Mille Lott Containing one Hundred Acres unto her and her Heirs Lawfully Begotten of her Body for ever. I Likewise give and Bequeath unto My aforesaid Daster Love Rathborn My Negro Girl called Persilla also a Chest of Drawers & a Large Maple Table: also a striped Silk Gown and a pece of Calminco and also my Largest green Rugg and My best feather Bed & furniture to her & her Heirs & Assigns for Ever. Item I give and Bequeath unto my afores'd Daster Love Rathborn one hundred Acres of Land part of the Track of Land I now Live on Called Catch Ireland on the North East side of Said Track of Land to her & her Heirs Lawfully Begotten of her Body for ever: Item I give and Bequeath unto My Beloved Daughter Emmely Rathborn Begotten by me on the Body of Mary Rathborn the remander of the aforesaid Tract of Land Called Catch Irland being two Hundred Acres to her & her Heirs Lawfully Begotten of her Body forever. I Likewise give and Bequeath unto My Daughter Emmely my Second best Bed and furniture with my Second best green Rug: & also four Leather Bottom'd Cheers: and I Likewise give and Bequeath unto My aforesaid Daster Emmely Rathborn my Negro Girl Called Benis to her and her Heirs & Assigns for ever. Item I give and Bequeath unto David Shockley son of Solomon Shockley two Cows and Calves to be paid to him by my Executor at the age of twenty one years: and all the Rest of my Estate both Real & personal My Will and Desire is should be equally Divided between my Two aforesaid Dasters Love & Emmely Rathborn at the Age of Sixteen Years old by my Executor and my Will and Desire Is that my two aforesaid Daughters be Learn'd to read and write & brought up in a Christian Manner by my Executor of this My Last Will and Testament and Do hereby appoint John Shockley Son of Jane Shockley Slay Maker my Sole Executor of this My Last Will & Testament and do hereby utterly Disallow, revoke and Disannule all & every Former Testaments Wills Legaces and Executors by me in any ways Before this Time Named, Willed and Bequeathed ratified & Confirmed this and No other to be My Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have Hereunto Set my Hand and Seal the Year and Day above written. N-- the Word: and forty five interlined his Before signed also the word age interlined before signed David Shockley (seal) Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence of us the Subscribers mark Israel Holland Jurat Obed Outten Jurat - Esther Haristoy Outten Jurat November 22 1754 Came Israel Holland, Obed Outten & Esther Haristoy Outten & made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they saw David Shockley the Testator Sign, Seal & heard him publish pronounce & Declare the same to be his Last Will and Testament & that at the time of his so Doing he was to the best of their apprehension of a Sound Disposing Mind and Memory and that they Subscribed their Names as Witnesses to the said Will in the presence of the Testator and at his Request Before Benton Harris Deputy Commissary of Worcester County November 22 1754 Came John Shockley the written Mentioned Executor and renounced the Executorship Before Benton Harris D Com'ry of Worcester County.
