I, John Henderson, of Worchester County in the State of Maryland, being weak of body, but of sound mind, memory and understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof: and being desirous to arrange my worldly affairs as well as possible before it shall please Almighty God to call me hence, do make, publish, and declare this my last will in manner and form following: First and principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God who save it and my body to the dust from whence it came to be decently buried. Item. In view of what I have previously done for my daughters Drucilla and Hester Ann and my sons Littleton and Oliver W. Henderson, I am now not able to provide further for them. Item. I give and bequeath to my son John my bed and furniture and my school books. Item. I give and bequeath to my son Julius E. Henderson, on condition that he support and provide for me during the balance of my life all the rest and remainder of my property including proceeds of sale of my River Swamp land now in the hands of my trustee for sale. I nominate, constitute and appoint Wm J. Aydelotte sole executor of this my last will and testament – hereby revoking, annulling and making void all wills heretofore made by me. In testimony whereof I . . . I hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this 31st day of August, A.D., 1880. Signed John Henderson seal
