HAWKES.

   Nathan Hawkes was born 23 Mch. 1783 in China, Me. He came to Durham when a
boy, lived with Joseph Estes and learned of him the trade of tanner and
harness-maker. He married Mary Win slow of Falmouth. He died 10 Jan. 1847. She
died 17 Jan. 1853.   13 ch.
