By savings his money form this southern employment,  according to Helen Rebekah (Fisher) Jones of Wales, he was  able to buy the farm where his bride lated lived. On the  Fisher Homestead his desecendants, Ruth & Alma now (1992)  live. ASa's wife, Rebekah Jane, taught several terms of  school in both Wales and Webster before he marriage.
