called Wellington township. Incorporated July 29, 1846. Population-1850, 227;
1860, 483; 1870, 760; 1880, 965. Valuation, 1860-Polls, 96; Estates, $54,369;
1870-Polls, 166; Estates, $138,585; 1880-Polls, 188; Estates, $149,273.
