Kingman to Patten. Twenty-four miles from Mattawamkeag and ten miles from
Patten. Once called Golden Ridge. Incor Jan. 28, 1862. Lots 18 in Ranges 2 and 3
set off from Silver ridge February 4, 1870. Population-1870, 701; 1880, 798.
