Moose River, Attean, Forsythe. Previous designations: 5R2 NBKP, Dennicetown,
Holdentown. Parts set off to form part of Moose River on 16 Oct. 1852.
The plantation was named after the original owner, John Dennis of Gardiner, Maine.
