THey later settled in Salem (MA) where their son John Jr. born in England married Elizabeth Bassett. Both John Jr and Elizabeth were condemned for witchcraft in 1692, and John was execulted 19 Aug that year, Elizabeth, however, was released. THey had a son Samuel Proctor, born in Danvers in 1680, who came to Falmouth (ME), In 1717-19 and married here, Sarah Brackett. Samuel d 16 Mar 1765 at Falmouth.
