then to Portland, ME. He m Harriet Doughty d/o Deacon Frederick Doughty
of Gray, ME. Warren was a member of the S.A.R.; Old Fellows; Trustee of
Pennell School. Children: Mrs L B Hunt; William Vinton of Gray, ME.

VOSMUS Harrison Atwood b 1834 s/o Luke & Harriet (Atwood) Vosmus. He
moved with the family to East Bridgewater, MA and finally settled in
Sherborne (MA) From there he enlisted as a private in the 16th
Regiment, MA Volunteers, and served from 23 Nov 1861 to Mar 1863, when
he was discharged for disability. He received a medal of Honor. He
married 1st Charlotte Bearce born in Nova Scotia d/o Robert & Mary (
) Bearce. She died at E Bridgewater, 18 Jul 1869, and he married
2nd at Wihitman MA 3 Jul 1870 Almira (Whitman) Jacquith, a widow, b in
Clarksburg, 1834 d/o Ward & Edna (Smith) Whitman. Harrison then
removed to Whitman and was a house painter. He died in Whitman, 24 Feb

Vosmus. Humphrey m 27 May 1813, Eunice True b 27 Jan 1795 at Bowdoin,
ME. d 25 Dec 1872 at Auburn, ME,d/o Jacob & Lucy (True) True. He bought
a farm on the Witham Road after his marriage. He served onthe Highway
Surveyor , School Agent boards, and was active in the South Auburn
Baptist Church. He was a member from Danville of the Council which, in
1847, formed the Pine Street Baptist Church in Lewiston ME ( then

VOSMUS Jacob, twin brother of Luke, s/o JOhn Sr & Hannah (Libbey)
Vosmus. He was born 14 Aug 1798 d 1851 at Danville 1851. HIs name
appearing in the tax lists as the exclusive owner after the death of
his mother. He attended Danville schools and later served a School
Agent for the 5th District of Danville. Jacob m 20 Aug 1922 at
Danville, Mary Parsons Goss, b 21 Dec 1802 d/o John & Anna (Parsons)
Goss. Upon Jacob's death she was left with small children. She
survived Jacob 47yrs dying in Auburn 1898. The vital records of this
family have been lost from the Danville records and the listing of
children below is compiled from obituaries & cemetery records.
According to the obituarary of James, they family consisted of seven
