It maybe interseting in this place to know that the fate of miss Finney She was carried away in her night clothes and continued without any other apparel until after they ..... at the top of the hill in topsham commanly a veiw of Brunswick village & fort george here the was advanced by her fellow prissoner to match the first blanket she could lay her hands on. she soon seized one that belonded to an indian and a sectect soon ... which although hazerdous was successful as she continued to retain it. She had a ....journey through the woods to Quebeck. there she was discharge of to a gentleman farmer who had her hoeing corn in his field. this task she did not perform cheerfully neither was her master satisfied. she was taken from the field & placed in the kitchen in this employment she gave him good satisfaction. her appearance attracted the attention of a frenchman in neighborhood who was ..... of taking her as his own. to keep her out of his way her master every day as soon as her work was done locked her up in a chamber and forbid the frenchman coming to his house. not many mouths after this Capt McLellen of Falmouth was at Quebeck with a carted for the purpose of exchanging some prisoners.
