Thirty miles N. of Farmington. Originally No. 3 R. 2, B. K. P. Organized 1855.
Reorganized April 23, 1881. On stage road from Kingfield to Eustis. Headquarters
of Carrabasset Land and Luniber Co. Population -1878, 19; 1880, 21. Valuation,
1880-Estates, $12,896.

Post-office-Kingfield.

  Manufacturer-Sam'l Emerson (Skowhegan), long and short lumber.
