Bangor. Settled between 1805 and 1810. Organized as plantation, 1822. Inc. Feb.
1, 1831. Population-1850, 217; 1860, 277; 1870, 212; 1880, 212. Valuation,
1860-Polls, 60; Estates, 840,272; 1870-Polls, 48; Estates, 832,052; 1880-Polls,
54; Estates, $41,953.
