VIENNA.

Twenty-two miles N. W. of Augusta. On Taylor's stage-route from Augusta to North
Vienna. Settled about 1792 First called Goshen. Incorporated the 132d town Feb.
20, 1802. Population-1850, 871, 1860, 878, 1870, 740; 1880, 644. Valuation,
1860-Polls 201; Estates $151,024, 1870-Polls, 200; Estates, $200,015;
1880-Polls, 176; Estates, $167,316.
