Miss Eva Mae Johnson was united to George B. Pillsbury at Mt Vernon, Maine. Daily Kennebec Journal Augusta, Maine January 3, 1900 The home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Johnson, corner of Mt. Vernon and Spring streets, was the scene of a very pretty wedding, last evening, when their daughter, Miss Eva Mae, was united to George B. Pillsbury. Rev. A. T. Ringold of the First Baptist church, officiating. At a few minutes after 8'oclock, the party came down the stairs t the parlor, decorated with green and holly, to the strains of "Lohengrin's Wedding March" played by Miss Lottie Graves. In the lead was little Ruth Buker, the ring bearer. Following her was the bridesmaid, Miss Harriet Westman, and the best man, Ernest Johnson, brother of the bride. Immediately following them were the bride and groom. The bride was attired in a travelling gown of mauve with white satin trimmings and looked very prettily. The bridesmad was attired in light blue silk and white satin trimmings. Under a canopy of evergreen with a wedding bell of green and white carations, the ceremony was performed, after which they received their friends. Refreshments were served and the couple left on the Pullman for Providence, R. I., where they will pass a short time with Mr. Pilsbury's parents. They will make their home at Waterville, where Mr. Pilsbury is employed by the Maine Central. Both are very popular young people and well known is this city. They were the recipients of may beautiful and useful presents.
