Mr. John Rich married Mrs. Lavina Bullock at Augusta, Maine Daily Kennebec Journal Augusta, Maine January 3, 1900 At the home of Mr. H. D. Cooper, 13 Florence Street, Augusta, New Year's evening, occurred a very pleasant wedding ceremony, with the ring service. The contracting parties were Mr. John Rich, a highly respected citizen and long-time stone cutter at the Hallowell Granite Works, and Mrs. Lavina Bullock, for some years a much respected resident of this city. The wedding occurred at the home of the daughter of the bride in the presence of family and friends. Rev. E. E. Miller, pastor of the Methodist church of Hallowell, performed the ceremony. Ice cream and cake were served. Mr. and Mrs. Rich are to reside on his well stocked and ample farm in the west part of the city. Congratulations and best wishes follow them.
