MARRIED
 In this town, by the Rev. Mr. Chessman, Mr. James R. Palmer, to Miss Eliza 
W. Abbot.

 In Belfast, by the Rev. Wm. Frothingham, the Hon. John S. Kimball to Miss 
Isabella Gordan.

 In Winthrop, Mr. Francis Fuller to Miss Hannah Wadsworth; Mr. Alvah 
Wadsworth to Miss Sally Thing.

 In Hallowell, by Rev. Mr. Chessman, Mr. William Hunt, to Miss Hannah Hodges, 
both of this town.

 In This town, by Asaph R. Nichols, Esq. Mr. Elbridge Wall, to Miss Phebe 
Chase.

DIED.

 In Nobleborough, 21 inst. Mon Matthew Cottrell, aged 65.

 In China, on the 22d ult. Miss Melinda Chadwick, eldest daughter of Widow 
Sarah Chadwick, in the 28th year of her age.

 In China, 20th ult. Mrs. Hannah Benson, wife of Gustavus A. Benson, aged 26.
