Kennebec Journal, June 4, 1825: Death Notices. DIED, In Monmouth, on the 27th ult. Mr. David Richardson, aged 93. In Brunswick, Mrs. Susannah Thomas, aged 100 years and 2 months. Her descendants are 10 children, 85 grandchildren, 209 great grand children, and 17 of the fourth generation, making in all 231. Mrs. Joseph Dunlap, aged 55. Mrs. Melcher, aged 80 years. Lately, at the residence of Mr. Daniel Pow- ell, in Halifax County, N. C. negro Lucy, aged about 114 years. She was brought from Africa upwards of 100 years since, and came with the first settlers of that town.
