To my wife, Jane Smouse, the use and income of all my real estate during the time she shall remain single and my widow until my children hereafter mentioned become age 21y, she properly educating the children and maintaining and clothing them in a proper manner, her one third part of my estate will of course accrue to her by the laws of the land. To my father, George Smouse, and my mother, Christine Smouse, who should be maintained in my house out of my estate as long as they are willing to remain peaceably there and that my mother at all events be decently maintained, clothed and boarded out of my estate as aforesaid. To my wife's mother, Susanna Kinsel, she should be maintained out of my estate in the same manner as my own mother before mentioned. To my sister, Margaret Aichorn, $50. To my sister, Mary Creamor, $50. To my sister, Catharine Reed, $50. To my sons, George Smouse, Jur. and Gorham Smouse, all my Real estate and personal estate whatever under the reservations aforesaid, they paying to my daughter, Berthelancy Smouse, when she shall arrive at age 18y, the value of one third part of every kind of my real estate and personal estate at the time she shall be aged 18y to be paid equally between them, and the remaining two thirds of my estate as aforesaid to be equally divided between my two sons.
