Macomber Corner Cemetery This cemetery was a private burial ground on the Macomber property. Asa Macomber buried 2 of his wife’s and what looks like maybe a sister and her daughter. According to the records for the Pine Grove also known as Brann’s Mills Cemetery it said the graves were moved from the Macomber Cemetery to Pine Grove. These names will appear again in the Pine Grove Cemetery with a note after each saying moved from the Macomber Corner Cemetery. It is not certain weather everything was moved or just the headstones. I live at was called Macomber Corner and have been told that there were people buried in what is an open field. I have searched for signs of the graves but have not found them as yet. In 2003 Macomber Corner is located about 6 miles south on town on Route 7. Today it is the corner of Route 7 (north side) and the Oliver Hill Rd. Ireland: Lizzie K.
